Statistical Analysis and Charting Techniques for Finance covers the basic aspects of quantitative analysis, statistical techniques and data analysis, with special reference to finance.
The Statistical Analysis modules deal with using Excel for Statistical Analysis, Estimation and Hypothesis Testing, and simple statistical analysis techniques such as correlation analysis, regression analysis, Fourier analysis, and t-Test & z-Test techniques.
The Charting Techniques modules include learning how to construct, analyze and interpret the results of statistical charts such as Pareto Diagrams, Run Charts, Histograms and Scatter Diagrams. Charting techniques used in the technical analysis of financial markets and investments are not covered in this course.
This program is targeted towards beginner learners who wish to build basic understanding of statistical analysis and charts, ultimately helping them to learn new techniques, draw statistical insights, and improve their efficiency in manipulating large volumes of financial and business performance data.
