For participants who experience problems logging in, here's a potential fix for Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 and 8 (IE7 and IE8) which assumes that your privacy settings are already configured to accept cookies:

Go into Internet Options --> Privacy --> Advanced

Tick the boxes to use the following:

1. Override automatic cookie handling
2. Accept First-Party cookies
3. Block Third-party Cookies
4. Always allow session cookies

Go into Sites... and add the address http://www1.finance30.com/selfstudy/ to your allowed sites.

This solution will allow Finance 3.0's Online learning platform to place cookies on your computer but will apply your preferred privacy settings to all other sites as well.
