As companies integrate the results of their strategic planning exercise into the corporate budget, sales, costs and investments forecasts must be translated accurately and efficiently into quantifiable plans that can be acted upon for capital allocation and performance management.
For this reason the financial modeler who is responsible for translating strategic plans into corporate budgets is often percieved to be on the critical path.
This program provides a financial modeler with the necessary knowledge and skills to adapt their existing financial modeling skills to specifically prepare corporate budgets and financial plans.
The program will also provide an overview of a corporate budgeting process, and discuss some of the problems associated with corporate budgeting along with “best practices” in corporate budgeting.
Enrollment to the Corporate Budgeting for Financial Modelers Academy provides full access to all course materials and videos, downloadable Excel practice templates, drill questions, homework assessment by a “live” coach, Q&A support and forum interaction with experts and fellow students.
